Gabrielle was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2007 and has worked in the mental health field since 2004, providing individual, group and family counseling. Prior to starting her private practice, Ms. Freire worked at a nonprofit agency as both a therapist and clinical supervisor (overseeing other therapists) and helped individuals, couples and families work through anxiety symptoms (difficulty concentrating, rapid heart rate, somatic complaints such as head or stomach aches), depression symptoms (low self-esteem, sadness, cries easily, low energy) and trauma (due to abuse or neglect, bullying or accident). She was also trained in the Flash Technique by Dr. Phillip Manfield and Dr. Ricky Greenwald and using the Flash technique when treating trauma or phobias or grief.

On her days off, she spends time with her family, she enjoys watching movies, reading books, baking, photography, hiking and meditating.
